{thirty days of thanks} new friends

meeting new people is not something i'm particularly good at - i'm inherently shy and i'm fairly certain i don't give fabulous first impressions. so i am certainly thankful for new friends who can see past my awkwardness {and appreciate my...trivia skills?}. it's fun getting to know new people, finding out what makes them tick, what we may have in common, what interesting experiences they've had. and the best thing about new friends is that, before you know it, they become old friends.
